Beach & Outdoor Areas

Minareto sits on cliffs within the protected Plemmirio Marine Reserve, offering two private beaches: a sandy cove and a rocky reef area with direct sea access. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge at both beaches. The property also has an outdoor swimming pool and three separate Jacuzzi areas overlooking the sea.

Accommodations

The hotel offers individually air-conditioned rooms with classic Italian design and balconies overlooking Ortigia Island. Villas ranging from 80 to 220 sqm come with private gardens and private pools, providing more space for families or couples. An Ortigia-view room or a villa with a private pool are available booking options.

Dining

On-site restaurant Nesos serves Sicilian and Italian cuisine, with alfresco dining on the roof terrace during summer months. Breakfast is a buffet style with fresh local ingredients, pastries, and made-to-order dishes. Really good Dining Experience

I was blown away by the dining options at Grand Hotel Minareto. We had lunch at the pool restaurant, where I enjoyed a delicious dish of tuna with red onions, calamari, and swordfish pasta. The homemade ice cream was a good treat! Breakfast was equally impressive with a selection of mini cannoli and croissants. Each meal was a culinary delight that made my stay nice.

Relaxing Spa Retreat

During my stay, I took advantage of the spa facilities which were truly heavenly! The hot tubs provided a warm and soothing experience with stunning views of the sea. I also enjoyed a relaxing massage, which was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Fresh fruits and drinks were available, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere. I left feeling rejuvenated!

Comfortable Room with a View

I stayed in a lovely room at the hotel that boasted beautiful views of Ortigia. The room was equipped with all necessary amenities, including a kettle for morning coffee. Although the room was described as not very large, it provided a cozy atmosphere and was always impeccably clean. The attention to detail made for a comfortable stay.

Enjoyable Pool Area

The pool area at the Grand Hotel Minareto was fantastic! There were plenty of comfortable sun loungers, making it easy to relax after a swim. The pool was well-maintained and provided a serene retreat. Even during busy times, there was no difficulty in finding a spot to unwind, which truly enhanced my leisure experience.
